Salesforce Program Manager -

Affirma is looking for an experienced Salesforce Program Manager with in-depth, hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce platform. In this role, you will set the strategic direction for a capability or product area, including high level design, business case, and working with the business to understand what capabilities are needed and what problems need be solved. The Program Manager must have expert knowledge in Salesforce capabilities and experience integrating systems, designing scalable architecture, and leveraging software design best practices. They will be responsible for running overall resource prioritization and allocation, risk management, stakeholder communications, leadership presentations, prioritizing work for the teams, process improvement, establishing a Community of Practice (COP), and delegating work to the teams.

•Provide Technical Program/Product Manager function for Salesforce Product and Technology teams
•Accountable for delivery management function of projects that impact the team
•Provide leadership and be responsible for consolidated executive summary and detailed weekly status, as well as ad-hoc status requests
•Bridge Waterfall and Agile methodologies to ensure alignment
•Responsible for resource balancing and planning of resources for Salesforce Product and Technology team initiatives
•Leverage Dev Architects/Analysts to do the initial vetting of scope/impacts, to ensure alignment with Digital •Architecture principles, and to identify opportunities for Digital Transformation
•Conduct impact assessment on Salesforce Product and Technology team when new Enterprise IT initiatives are rolled out and understand their system-specific impacts
•Drive sessions to define features and epics to a level enabling technical grooming within development teams
•Facilitate gathering of business and technical requirements from cross-functional partners.
•Facilitate complex team meetings, involving business and technical resources, including third party vendors
•Lead a diverse group of resources – developers, technical architects, program and project managers, testing leads, and testers
•Demonstrate credibility as a business partner to ensure business and technology decisions are reached to support business goals and objectives
•Establish and drive long-term relationships across all required verticals

Qualifications and Experience
•7-10 years’ experience in industry roles delivering digital technology solutions
•1-2 years’ experience working with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Salesforce Platform
•Bachelor of Arts or Science required. Preferred a degree in technology, Information Systems, or related
•At least 5 years’ experience managing a portfolio of technology initiatives
•Proven Program management and technical project management capabilities
•Proven ability to lead technology teams in complex environments
•Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience desired, specializing in technology delivery
•Preferred experience working with both business and IT delivery teams
•Ability to work across varying levels of an organization
•Experience in executive level reporting
•Experience and knowledge delivering solutions using Agile methodologies
•Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience with either a Big 4 Consulting firm or a more specialized boutique consulting firms specializing in technology delivery
•Ability to work permanently in the U.S. on a full-time basis
•Must be in the Seattle area; with ability to work on the client site 100% of the time
