Jr. Systems Support/Administration
6-12 month contract
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role with experience in documentation and strong customer relationship skills.
1+ years of experience with SQL server
Excellent written and verbal communication skills / ability to discuss technical objectives to non-technical user community
Team player with good interpersonal/customer service skills and a positive attitude
Self-starter, ability to multitask and work with minimal direct supervision
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
STRONG willingness to learn
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent education/experience)
Experience supporting ERP systems (such as Ross ERP or SAP)
C# programming language
Experience with Aptean Ross ERP
Experience in Manufacturing and inventory systems
Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
System administration: Aptean Ross 6.4 accounting system (DML/IAF Software Development), Ross 6.4 ERP, Solarwinds server monitoring tool, IBM Notes, MS Outlook
Evaluate, prioritize and disposition incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users.
Reply to customer inquiries with authentic, human responses.
Advocate internally for customers to ensure issues are resolved efficiently
Work with leadership to improve skill sets and further career development opportunities
Business analysis on the EPI and Ross upgrade projects
Meeting with the end users to document their processes
