This position will manage other service technicians located in our customer facility in Delano, California. This is a working supervisor position, meaning you will be working alongside the other service techs to ensure we are addressing customer issues and providing excellent customer support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that service technicians appropriately address customer issues and provide customer satisfaction.
•Ensure equipment operation and application process quality meet customer's requirements.
•Ensure all service technicians' reports are submitted, reviewed for accuracy and filed routinely.
•Ensure packinghouse safety and quality audits are completed on time and any corrections are completed promptly.
•Coordinate new process or labeler installations to be completed on time and within budget.
•Create an overhaul schedule annually and ensure a historical service record is maintained for each asset.
•Ensure process/labeler problems or customer breakdowns are addressed immediately and I have followed up within one business day.
•Keep detailed records of chemicals used by leased process packinghouses.
•Talk with the Technical Process Advisor daily to get customer feedback on Service department performance.
•Work with employees to identify training opportunities and develop a training program together with them.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
•Previously demonstrated mechanical ability working packing house machinery and equipment.
•Knowledge of chemical handling and processing.
•Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Hold a valid CA driver's license.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
•Two years supervisory or management experience in the citrus processing industry.
•California State Pesticide Applicators License (QAL)

•Physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling average maximum weight of 50 lbs. 1-33% of day.
•Physically capable of sitting, standing, walking 34-66% of day.
•Physically capable of reaching, climbing 1-33% of day.
•Physically capable of squatting 34-66% of day.
•Physically capable to work in moderate cold to extreme heat 25-60% of day.
•Physical capable of using hand tools 50-60% of day.
•Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
•Physically capable of stepping up/down material handling equipment (forklift truck) 25-60% of day.
•Over 50lbs. requires mechanical or physical assistance.
