Title: INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Type: Full Time
Reports to: Operations Manager
Office Location: Southern California
The Installation Technician I is responsible for the installation of audio visual systems including, but not limited to, background music, paging, digital signage, conference rooms, video and audio conferencing, CCTV, and satellite television systems. The position requires the ability to work both independently and with others as well as a professional appearance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation of AV Systems
•Installation of Projectors, Monitors, Speakers, Screens and other audio visual equipment
•Pull and terminate cable at equipment and rack
•Installation of Drive Thru systems
•Installation of satellite dishes
•Assist in testing and verification of AV system
•Assure system installation completeness is in accordance with system drawings and scope of work
•Assist with fabrication, wiring and testing of equipment racks
•Use Company approved installation methods and techniques
•Ensure all work complies with company policies and procedures
•Maintain assigned equipment inventory, tools and company vehicle
•Complete daily activity sheets and project reports
•Follow and maintain company safety practices
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned by Regional Operations Manager
•Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
•Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
•Ability to follow directions
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
•Strong problem solving skills
