The System Administrator provides network and desktop support for the company and keeps everything running smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining existing infrastructure and working with the team to make improvements where applicable.
Maintain and administer network software and hardware
Maintain network security and manage user access to systems and applications
Provide desktop support for end-users
Troubleshoot systems and applications to resolve any issues
Configure and install network and desktop hardware
Monitor performance and make improvements where applicable
Perform daily monitoring of hardware, software, scheduled jobs and backups
Job Description - Requirements:
Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP
Experience managing Windows 2008-2016 Servers
Supporting Windows Desktops running Windows 7 and 10
Knowledge of Active Directory and Hyper-V virtualization
Understanding of networking and network hardware configuration
Familiarity with VOIP and Linux operating systems
Ability to script in at least one language
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication
Experience with Sage-MAS, FreePBX, and G Suite Administration are a plus.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5-8 years of direct experience in network and system administration.
