IT Help Desk Technician Paid Internship -

Encino based IT Support & Solutions Company is looking for a motivated student looking for a Paid Internship as an IT Support Help Desk while working on your Computer Science Degree.

On a typical day you will help with proactive maintenance of approximately 750+ workstations, 100+ Servers & other network devices, deploying new software, updates or hardware upgrades will provide an excellent learning opportunity. Troubleshooting Windows and Mac issues related to networking, office productivity, computer usage and other general technical issues is where you will be able to apply what you are learning in school. Documenting issues and solutions accurately in our ticketing system, before moving on to the next issue is a must. Some of our best interns have continued on as employees.

You must currently in a college or technical institute working on a computer science degree and be able to work an average of 20 hours per week.

A desire to learn new technologies and develop professionally is very important to our companies growth and will be supported with resources for training.

--Windows, Apple iOS
--Desktop hardware, peripheral & printer support knowledge
--Understanding of Email issues
--Anti Virus/Malware/Spyware assessment & removal
--Understanding of networking
--Understanding of MS Office applications
--Strong customer relationship skills.
--Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
--Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate through e-mail.
--Willingness to develop professionally.

Certifications: Any Microsoft, CompTIA or Security Certifications are a plus

Working Conditions: Normal professional, office environment.

Must have suitable transportation and live close to Encino. No relocation assistance is available.
