Apprentice will learn- safety procedures, construction skills, blue-print reading skills, rough-in and conduit bending skills, wiring techniques, electronic system installation practices, code requirements, etc. Apprentice will train under the direct supervision of an EST Journeyman and will work in the field on construction sites on a crew. Employee will be required to travel for work locally and statewide. A valid drivers license and clean driving record is a must. Electronic systems work includes commercial fire alarm, enterprise level video surveillance, intercom, access control, and other related systems.
Preferred (not required) skills include- an understanding of basic electrical circuits, a familiarity with electronic systems, basic networking skills, New Mexico EJ-3, NICET Certification, and BICSI Certification.
Starting pay will be based on level of experience.
