Job Title: Web Development Coordinator
Department: College Communications
Reports Directly To: Chief Communications Officer

Summary
Under general supervision, the Web Development Coordinator provides administrative and technical maintenance and management of all facets of the principal College website, consisting of a comprehensive range of associated web pages. Develops and implements overall policies, procedures, additions and updates for web site content, structure, format, and usage. Leads and supervises the activities of student workers and other support staff, as appropriate.

Must have an eye for compelling design, layout, use of text, images and color; and hands-on experience working with Flash, HTML, Photoshop, Drupal and other digital media and social networking software and applications.

Minimum education and experience
•Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Minimum qualifications
•Good knowledge of web visual design, navigation, content creation and usability. Ability to set priorities, accomplish objectives in a timely manner and manage several projects at once.
•Established record of collaboration and good interpersonal and communicational skills with diverse internal and external constituents. The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, is essential.
•Knowledge of the principles, procedures and standards of integrated web site structuring and design.
•Knowledge of current alternatives in available web site software and hardware.
•Ability to provide technical training to staff and/or students in area of expertise.
•Advanced knowledge and understanding of current authoring languages, editing and authoring tools, and related web site technologies.
•Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
•Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
•Knowledge and understanding of electronic filing systems and document archives.
•Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
•Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and programs in area of expertise.
•Knowledge of established programming procedures and programming languages.
