Job Summary: Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking an energetic and experienced Manager of Technology Infrastructure to support the Bank's Technology Department. This exciting position is responsible for the overall health, performance, and security of the Bank's infrastructure including network, server, storage, phone systems, and cybersecurity tools. The duties include complex upgrades, new implementations, after-hours maintenance, acting as an escalation point for advanced issues, and helping design solutions to support the Bank's long term objectives. This position also supervises direct reports who assist with maintenance, reporting, problem resolution, and implementation projects and is a hands-on working manager, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, developing peer relationships which build on positive cross organizational interaction, and establish the department as a focal point for business enhancement.

Education & Experience:
• Four-year college degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience preferred
• 7+ years datacenter management experience; financial industry experience preferred
• Experience leading and managing technical teams in highly available and secure environments
• Requires a strong foundational knowledge of network, virtualization, server and storage design
• Strong knowledge of network security concepts (e.g. defense in depth)
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. PCI, GLBA)

• Ability to think and plan strategically while also executing tactical implementation of complex projects
• Strong knowledge of the internet and all supporting technologies and protocols
• Strong knowledge of dynamic routing protocols; BGP preferred
• Experience managing critical vendors (e.g. cloud computing, telecommunications, and financial applications)
• Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies; VMware/NetApp/Cisco preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and *BSD
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL Server, and Sharepoint
• Strong knowledge of secure network design including hardening, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation, application firewalls, endpoint protection, patch management, vulnerability remediation, SIEM, and malware analysis; knowledge of forensic tools and techniques preferred, previous experience with Splunk preferred

Responsibilities will Include:
•Research and recommend technology solutions to enhance the Bank's internal infrastructure, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in order to make recommendations and implement solutions
•Maintain and upgrade existing technology deployments to add capacity, improve resiliency, increase performance, and strengthen security
•Deliver high quality tools to the organization to recognize operational efficiencies through technology
•Develop and maintain application server environment including version upgrades, security patches, and bug fixes
•Oversee the backup and recovery infrastructure including system imaging, snapshots, replication, and offline
•Advocate for strong cybersecurity practices; ability to combine security principles and business requirements
