A leading IT Solutions company is looking for an entry level Technical Application Specialist. They're looking to add hard working and motivated young professionals to their team. This great company secures on-premise and cloud based solutions all over the United States. You will be working on the technical support side of a well establish, yet rapidly growing IT firm. The company's start-up environment lets you develop your ideas and skills while working with some of the best in the business.
-A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
-Fundamental skills in network administration.
-A track record of critical thinking skills and problem solving.
-Basic understanding of server administration preferably using Linux or RedHat.
-Networking knowledge such as TCP/IP connectivity and technologies.
-Familiar with databases such as (PostgreSQL) and VMWare Virtualization.
-Experience in IP Telephony, Cisco, Avaya, or Asterisk is a plus.
-Install and configure platform products.
-Troubleshoot call center integration and configuration.
-Problem solve technical issues using critical thinking skills.
-Train users on software and provide ongoing support.
-Develop systems and design infrastructure.
-Generate and review documentation; provide written and verbal feedback on system requirements and design.
-Must be able to rapidly learn new technologies and communicate effectively with various teams.
