ABOUT THE ROLE

Greenwich St. Jewelers is seeking an Ecommerce & Product Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for managing Ecommerce product and sales, acting as a bridge between the customer and the company. The ideal candidate will have a service mindset, a passion for product and be digitally native. This role is an integral part of our team and involves communication with all G.St departments and external vendors. 

 

Greenwich St. Jewelers is a fine jewelry boutique located in downtown Manhattan presenting a curated assortment of  sought-after and emerging jewelry designers. Led by sisters Jennifer Gandia and Christina Gambale, who personally curate a modern selection of fine jewelry for everyday wear and a unique selection of engagement and wedding rings.  G.St combines the best of jewelry craft with inspired design and responsible sourcing for fine jewelry that is mindfully made to love for a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive all new inventory to enter into the inventory control system with complete photography, product and pricing information
  • Write detailed SEO friendly product descriptions for each jewelry item
  • Maintain website on a day to day basis, coordinating and executing ongoing content updates, promotions, merchandising, special collections, related products, reviews, maintenance and improvements
  • Act as concierge for digital shoppers, ensuring outstanding customer experience and increasing sales via suggestive selling
  • Provide customer service via web chat, email & phone including responding to online inquiries and communicating store policies
  • Manage order processing, fulfillment, shipping and returns
  • Handle photo shoot preparation including packing, cleaning and transferring items and facilitating the return of items to the selling floor

??The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university is preferred
  • 2-3 years previous work experience in an e-Commerce or digital role; experience with Shopify preferred
  • Outstanding client service mentality; experience in jewelry, fashion or accessories preferred 
  • Excellent copywriting skills with strong ability to craft SEO friendly product descriptions
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop is a plus 
  • Demonstrate understanding of website usability/web optimization
  • Must be extremely detail-focused and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player and be able to interact across departmental divisions
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain a positive, enthusiastic and energetic demeanor to help foster an cohesive working environment
