We are currently looking to fill an open position in our Web Department for a Social Media Specialist. We are an industrial material handling importer, manufacturer and wholesaler located in Donald, Oregon (just off I-5, about 10 minutes south of Wilsonville, Oregon). We are looking for someone who can help facilitate our social media presence by ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. As a Social Media Specialist, you are expected to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends as well as excellent communication skills to be able to express the company's views creatively.

We are looking for a team player that works well with others, but also possess the ability to manage solo projects efficiently and effectively. Advancement within the company is directly related to job performance and quality of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
- Create/Maintain company social media pages & profiles.
- Set up & optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content and maintain consistent/professional appearance overall.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each social network.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.

- Basic Typing & Computer Skills
- Excellent Written/Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Similar Application Suites (e.g. Libre Office, Google Docs, etc.)
- Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms.
- Ability to write blog posts, articles or any other form of written web media about our extensive line of products and equipment.
- Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments to manage our online reputation, identify opportunities, and coordinate actions to pursue said opportunities.
- Interest in Sales, eCommerce and/or Industrial Equipment Supply is a huge plus.

- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media is a huge plus.
