Application Support Engineer -

The Application Support Engineer responsibilities will include perform support mission critical enterprise applications by increasing user efficiency through development of custom programming, consulting with business units on enhancements to current systems, developing software documentation and managing comprehensive testing on all development and enhancements. Meet Gensco’s mission by providing excellent customer service by coordinating with business units on current/future IT projects, providing user training and support for all of enterprise applications, building knowledge base for IT related issues and resolutions and acting as Tier 2 support for all enterprise application support incidents.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide level 2-3 technical support for Enterprise Application Systems.
Provide Team Member training on new and existing application features.
Create custom reports and modify existing out-of-the box reports.
Develop processes to assist with rapid changes to application enhancements.
Develop, maintain and support EDI transactions between Gensco and 3rd parties.
Facilitate application testing throughout the change process
Assist in web UI implementations.
Manage and track support cases opened with software vendors.
Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to all Gensco customers.
Available for occasional on-call rotation

Completion of college program in information technology or related studies
Strong development skills within C#,
Completion of college program in information technology or related studies
Understanding of SQL scripting
Crystal Reports development
Experience with source control(Azure DevOps)
Superior Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency
Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with staff with varying levels of technical expertise
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and meet project deadlines in a multi-task environment
Experience with Epicor Prophet 21
Experience with Salesforce
